On Saturday, news emerged that Cameroonian army had
reportedly killed the leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect,
who had been mimicking the original late Abubakar Shekau.
His killing reportedly comes after a fierce battle in the
Gambaru region far north of the country.
In a rare show of courage, the Cameroonian army went
ahead to release the picture of Shekau’sbullet ridden body,
lying lifeless after the combat. A Cameroon military source
says that Abubakar Shekau was killed following an aerial
bombardment of his hideout inside Nigeria.
