Lovers Mysteriously Die Few Days To Wedding

They had thought that in few days time, they would start savouring the joy and benefits of matrimony but they never lived to see their dreams of marital life actualized. Two lovers, simply identified as Udogi Eguke and Ese, were found dead under a mysterious circumstances in their Makolomi Street apartment in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. The house owner, Chief Alfred Onavwa, who shared the top floor of the one-storey building with one of the deceased, confirmed the incident. He said having been contacted on the absence of one of the deceased by neighbours, he called his (deceased) line only to realize that his mobile phone was ringing upstairs. He explained further that, “On getting close to the door of the private stairway leading to their apartment, I noticed that it was locked from inside, with a stench oozing out. “On realizing this, I personally invited the police who came and broke the door only to discover their decomposing bodies. “Their remains were later deposited in the mortuary and I was made to understand that investigation into the matter was ongoing. “Even the Ughelli Divisional Police Officer was here to see things for himself.” Meanwhile, findings revealed that the couple, whose wedding was slated for November 22, had started preparation, with invitation cards already sent out to intending guests. When contacted for comments, Ughelli Divisional Police Officer, Samuel Musa, neither debunked nor confirmed the incident. He directed all comments on the matter to the state Police Public Relation Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Celestina Kalu.

Man Forges Own Death Certificate To Defraud Insurance Company

Out of frustration, a 35-year-old man, Banjo Omotosho, and his wife, Ebun, 29, allegedly forged a death certificate in a bid to defraud the Niger Insurance Company of the sum of N1.08m. The couple has since been caught and arraigned before a Somolu Magistrate’s Court. The alleged crime was said to have been detected by the insurance company, located on the Anthony end of the Ikorodu Expressway, Lagos. It was learnt that Banjo had approached the company with his wife, Ebun, to take a life insurance policy under the names, Ojo Alabi Kingsley, and Ojo Motunrayo, respectively. Banjo was said to have claimed that Ebun (Motunrayo) was his daughter and hence his next of kin. The life insurance was said to have been taken in May, while a premium of N50, 000 was paid to the company. However on August 4, Ebun (Motunrayo) allegedly approached the company and said her father had died in an accident, hoping to claim the benefit of N1, 080, 000 attached to the insurance policy. It was learnt that Ebun allegedly presented a police report, and a forged death certificate signed by one Dr. Lawal of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, dated May 29. The medical report reportedly indicated that he died of hemorrhagic shock. In addition, Ebun allegedly obtained an attending physician certificate that Alabi Ojo Kingsley had been under his (doctor’s) care for two years, which was co-signed by two law firms located in Gbagada area of the state. Niger Insurance Company was said to be in the final stages of verification of claims when residents of the purported address where the ‘deceased’ lived denied knowing anyone by the name. Omotosho and Ebun were then arrested after the fraud was uncovered. They were arraigned on three counts of conspiracy, forgery and intent to defraud. The charges read in part, “That you, Banjo Omotosho and Ebun Omotosho, on September 22 at about 10am at Niger Insurance Plc on Ikorodu Road, Anthony Village, fraudulently forged the death certificate of one Ojo Alabi Kingsley with intent to claim N1,080,000 on behalf of Ojo Motunrayo who is his next of kin.” The police prosecutor, ASP Akinlabi Adegoke, said the offences were punishable under sections 361, 21 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011. They pleaded not guilty to the charges and elected summary trial. Their defence counsel asked for their bail in liberal terms. The magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi, admitted them to bail in the sum of N200,000 each, with two sureties in like sum. However, the matter was later adjourned till December 10, 2014 for further hearing.

Gay-friendly mosque opens quietly in South Africa

Le Cap – Against a global background of rising Islamist militancy a new mosque where gay people are welcome, Christians too, and women are treated equally to men opened peacefully in Cape Town on Friday despite threats of violence.

Launched by Muslim academic Taj Hargey, the South African-born director of the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford, the first Friday prayers at the ‘Open Mosque’ drew more media crews than worshippers or protesters.

Police were on hand in case of trouble outside the newly-painted green mosque, a former panel beating workshop sandwiched between two similar motor vehicle repair operations on a backstreet in the Wynberg suburb.

While a handful of protesters told AFP they were waiting for reinforcements and would “stop this thing, no matter what”, the Friday prayers went ahead largely unhindered apart from the occasional protester’s cry of “You will go to hell”.

Hargey has described his mosque as a “religious revolution” following on from the political revolution led by late former president Nelson Mandela when democracy replaced apartheid rule in South Africa in 1994.

As revolutions go, this was a quiet one.

In his sermon Hargey condemned the increasing hatred in the world between Muslims and Christians.

He blamed this on “warped theology” from countries such as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan which he said gave rise to “fanatical” groups like the Islamic State organisation, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Boko Haram in Nigeria.

He said “contaminated Saudi money” was used to promote “toxic and intolerant manifestations of Islam”.

Hargey told reporters outside the mosque earlier that he had been subjected to physical and psychological threats since he announced his plans.

“There’s been threats about castrating me, beheading me, hanging me upside down. But South Africa has the most liberal constitution in the world — they cannot stop us opening today.”

Asked about his qualifications as a religious leader he said: “I have a PhD in Islamic studies from Oxford University, unlike my opponents who went to some donkey college in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.”

Hargey is not new to Islamic controversy — in Britain he has launched a campaign to ban the burka.

Collapsed Synagogue Building did not have approval-Commissioner

The Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Development and Urban Planning, Mr Toyin Ayinde, on Thursday, revealed that the collapsed guest house, belonging to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has no approval from the state government.Testifying before the coroner, sitting in Ikeja and presided over by chief magistrate, Mr Oyetade Komolafe, said “The approval given to the church was for the main building and not the one that collapsed. The collapsed building, by the record of the Lagos State government, does not have approval.We later demanded for the drawing of the collapsed building from Prophet T.B Joshua and other materials, but up till today, we are yet to get a reply,” “The approval that we saw was in the name of the Synagogue Church of All Nations dated January 26, 2004 but that approval was just for the main auditorium and one of the things we discovered was that it was an approval for a five-floor development. But on our visit to the site, we discovered that the building had beentaken to eight floors; we do not have the records of the additional floors, making those floors illegal construction. Did we see anything on the collapsed building? No. In our records, the collapsed building has no approval. “Prophet T.B Joshua invited us into his office and requested to know if we have seen the CCTV footage and we answered in the negative.However, the CCTV footage given to us indicated that the aircraft which flew over the building at that time might have been responsible for the collapse of the building.We sent the CCTV footage to the NCAA to ascertain the aircraft which flew at that time the building collapsed. We later got an information from the NCAA that some air force aircraft were on training. “If you fail to plan, you have already planned to fail. Fighting between Nigerian troops and Boko Haram insurgents escalated in Mubi, Mararaba Mubi and Uba in Adamawa State on Wednesday.

Casualty figures could not be obtained as of 8pm but the development forced the state government to impose 24-hour curfew on the affected communities.

Our correspondents gathered that   Mubi, the second largest town in the state and host of two high institutions, was the worst hit.

A parent, Ahmad Sajoh, whose   daughter is studying at the Adamawa State University, said that as of 2pm on Wednesday, the police barracks in the Government Reservation Area was overrun by the insurgents while the prison in the town was blown open.

He added that   fighting which was ongoing at the army barracks caused confusion at the IDP camp in the Lamorde area of the town.

However, an online newspaper, SaharaReporters reported that Boko Haram insurgents took over the headquarters of the 234 battalion in the town.

Our correspondents gathered that the development made banks to move their cash to Yola, the state capital.

Sources told The PUNCH that insurgents   launched an attack on Uba   in the Michika-Madagali area of the state in response to sustained aerial bombardment of their hideouts by security forces.

Residents said they saw a large number of insurgents at Mararaba, a town about seven kilometres from Mubi.

Sajoh told one of our correspondents that his daughter called to inform him about the development in Mubi.

He said, “This morning, I got a call from my daughter who is a 200-level student. She was hysterical. I was in Abuja for a meeting, but her information forced me to head back to Yola immediately.

“I ordered her to leave the hostel and join her cousins to escape the town. I called my father who confirmed the story. By the time I arrived at Yola airport, the town had fallen to the insurgents.

“My parents are trapped while my daughter and her cousins are missing. We have lost contact for   six hours.”

Sajoh, who is the director of Press and Public Affairs to the former Governor Murtala Nyako, added, “Mallam Iliyasu of the Bursary Department of the state university, who is trapped in the town said by 2pm, the Police Barracks in the GRA was overrun by the insurgents, the prison was blown open while fighting was going on at the army barracks. The IDP camp at Lamorde area was thrown into confusion.

“The new rulers of the town had issued a decree banning   entry and exit to the town. Students who trooped to the motor park were stranded with most taking refuge in any house that could welcome them.

“The barracks are the least safe locations in the town. So far, there are no reported cases of killings or abductions. But fear and apprehension have taken over.”

Another source said that Mubi was currently deserted by residents after the incident, the second in three months.

The   higher institutions in the   town were forced to close down again.

There are fears of   humanitarian crisis should the town fall into the hands of the insurgents.

A fleeing resident, Joshua Gajere, said   several people might have been killed during the shootings that lasted for almost two hours in Uba and other villages.

He said, ‘‘We are in serious trouble as these boys (Boko Haram) have taken over our towns, splitting into groups and advancing towards Mararaba, Mubi and Vintim, the home town of the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh. They made the   Nigerian troops to retreat to Mubi’’.

Gajere added, “As I am talking to you now, residents are scampering for safety.

‘‘Mubi has now become a ghost of itself as people in their hundreds are fleeing for their lives.

‘‘Even here in Maiha, we saw military vehicles zooming off towards Yola, the state capital.’’

However, a resident from Michika, Mr. Siva Zira, told one of our correspondents that the   military was having an upper   hand as they were able to dislodge the insurgents in Michika and Uba.

Meanwhile,   Governor James Ngillari has asked the people of the state, particularly those in the affected areas to remain calm as security agents were on the top of the situation.

His Director of Press and Public Affairs,   P.P. Elisha, said   the governor met with security heads in the state to assess the situation.

He said, “It’s unfortunate with this development, His Excellency, has met with security chiefs in the state on Wednesday to assess the situation.

“People should remain calm, security agents are on the top of situation.’’

It was further gathered banks in Mubi have taken the pre-emptive steps to move out large volume of cash to the Central Bank of Nigeria in Yola.

Our correspondents could not get the Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, to comment on the   hostilities as the calls to his mobile telephone line did not connect.

The government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Mubi, Mararaba Mubi and Uba.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Andrew Weyle, who announced this, advised the people to stay away from the roads and other public places.

He said,“Following the escalation of violence by the insurgents, his Excellency the Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Bala James Ngillari, has approved the imposition of 24 hours curfew on Mubi, Mararaba Mubi and Uba, with immediate effect.

“People are advised to stay off the roads and public places except those on essential services.”

It was further gathered that the insurgents   killed the son of a prominent traditional ruler in the area.

A resident, who identified himself as Kwahir Sani, said, “We fled to a village called Wuro Gude near Mubi when the violence erupted and I have lost contact with some of my children.

"Synagogue Building has no Approval," - Lagos State Commissioner

The Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Develpoment, Oluwatoyin Ayinde, has said that the collapsed six-storey building of the Synagogue Church of All Nations has no government approval.

According to a new report on PUNCH, Ayinde stated this on Thursday while giving testimony before the coroner probing the cause of the building collapse. No fewer than 116 persons died while several others sustained varying degrees of injuries in the September 12, 2014 tragedy.

Ayinde said investigations conducted by his ministry after the accident revealed that though the six-
storey building had a record of survey, it however had no approval of the government. He said the only thing found in the records was an approval for the church’s main auditorium, adding that though that auditorium had now been raised to eight floors, the approval given was only for five floors.

The commissioner, who described all unapproved structures in the church’s premises as illegal, stated that there was the need to investigate what he described as unusual practices going on within the church premises. Ayinde wondered why, for instance, one of the columns supporting the additional three floors placed on the main auditorium had to take off from the top of a water tank.

He said:
 “The approval that we saw was in the name of the Synagogue Church of All Nations dated January 26, 2004 but that approval was just for the main auditorium and one of the things we discovered was that it was an approval for a five-floor development. But on our visit to the site, we discovered that the building had been taken to eight floors; we do not have the records of the additional floors, making those floors illegal construction. Did we see anything on the collapsed building? No. In our records, the collapsed building has no approval.
I’d like to say that with the additional structure we saw on site, we are inclined to express some fears. We have seen, for example, that one of the columns is not taking off from the ground floor, but it is resting on an existing water tank and I don’t know whether any engineer certified that construction. This needs to be investigated because it is an unusual practice to start a column middle way.”
While expressing doubts over the claim by the church that the collapse of the building was connected with some aircrafts that had hovered over it shortly before the accident, Ayinde stated that his investigations revealed that the distance between the said aircraft and the top of the building was one and a half the length of a football pitch.

He added that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority had written a letter to his ministry showing a request by the Nigeria Air Force that some of their aircrafts were going to be having rehearsals at that time around that place.

He said:
“What we wanted to know was which aircrafts were flying at that particular time? Two, at what altitude were they flying? And three, what was the coordinate of their flight path?”

How Diezani Madueke's sister rescued after 8 days in kidnapper's den

The sister of Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, Osiya Agama has been rescued by police in Port Harcourt eight days after she was kidnapped.

Mrs Agama was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on her way from an evening church on Tuesday October 21, at Leventis Bus-Stop along Port Harcourt-Aba Road, as she approached her car.  

The police said yesterday that she has been rescued. A text message from the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, stated that she was rescued during a joint operation by the Police, Military And Operatives of the State Security Service

“This is to inform you that Osiya Agama has been safely rescued during a joint operation by the Police, Military and the State Security Service. Two Suspects Were Arrested”.

The Peoples’ Democartic Party (PDP) has taken a swipe at the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) following the party’s amendment of its constitution.
The national leadership of the PDP on Wednesday, October 29, said the APC lacked direction and was not prepared to govern Nigeria, The Nation reports.
This was disclosed in a statement by its Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh.
The statement reads: “The amendment of the constitution of the APC in what the party termed special national convention just few months into the life of the same document is a direct consequence of lack of direction and unpreparedness and an attempt to redeem a jaundiced’ party law.
“The development has confirmed the APC as a disorganised political party, lacking the ability to effectively administer itself and we wonder how it can govern a nation as complex as Nigeria.”


“In APC, Nigerians have continued to witness a rickety, wobbly vehicle bound to jerk to a stop midway, abandoning the occupants to the mercy of inclement elements. Of course, Nigerians have noted that the PDP remains the only steady and stable platform for the growth and progress of democracy in our dear country.”
Metuh further described the APC mini convention in Abuja as a charade and an exercise designed to hide the party’s inadequacies which is glaring for all to see.
The APC constitutional amendments reportedly sailed through unanimously using voice vote at its Special Convention in Abuja with 5,287 delegates and leaders from across the country.

According to SUN,  45-year-old Nwe­bonyi Nwuguru, a native of Edukwu Inyima town was said to have given the land to the General Overseer of Divine Salvation Ministry, Pastor Amos Odorimo, 45, for the purpose of building a church auditorium
The man’s wife, Roseline, 41, began to attend the church. Nwuguru didn’t initially raise eyebrows over the long hours his wife spent at the church. Somewhere along the line, the pastor opened the door wide for the devil and of course went beyond his pas­toral brief. He began to minister to the woman’s body rather than her soul.
At the headquarters of the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Ebonyi State Police Command where he and Roseline are being held as inves­tigation into the alleged murder continues, Odorimo spoke with Sunday Sun.
“I am married and have five children. The deceased Nwebo­nyi Nwugwu was nice to me. He gave me a hectare of land to build my church. His wife, Roseline Nwuguru attended my church. It was from there that I started having love affair with her. When the love was getting deep we found out that the de­ceased was disturbing us and we have to plan for him,” Odorimo said. When Nwuguru got wind of the strong and deep romantic relationship between his wife and Odorimo, the fake pastor, he naturally screamed blue murder. With their love affair known to Nwuguru, Odorimo and Roseline were deeply rattled, but refused entreaties to end the re­lationship. Rather, they allegedly connived to solve the problem permanently, and invited the devil to be their chief adviser.
Act 2, Scene 2: On September 30, 2014, unsuspecting Nwu­guru decided to visit his farm. Promptly, Odorimo offered to give him a ride on his motor­cycle. Along the way Odorimo stopped and dismounted from the motorcycle.
Asked what happened thereafter, Odorimo gave this blood chilling response: “I took deceased’s cutlass and cut him on the head. His wife also hit him on the head with a big stick. He died on the spot and we ran away to Benue State, but men of the local vigilance group arrested us and handed us over to the police.”
Roseline Nwuguru, who hails from Ado LocalGovernment Area of Benue State while corroborating the account of Odorimo said: “I have seven children for my late husband. He stopped people from entering the church because he had misunderstanding with Pastor Odorimo. Actually I was having a love affair with Pastor Odorimo. I don’t regret my action and joining in killing my husband. He was a wicked man, because he prevented people from entering the church.”
After speaking with Sun­day Sun, the two suspects, Pastor Odorimo and Roseline Nwugwuru ate lunch together from the same plate as a way of showing their love for each other.
Notwithstanding their show of deep affection for each other, Ebonyi State Commissioner, Maigari Dikko has assured that the suspects would have their day in court once the police conclude investigations.

A woman from Delta State (names withheld by us) who was kid­napped nine years ago by her lov­er has miraculously regained her freedom.

The woman who lived in the Ikotun Egbe area of Lagos stepped out of her lover’s house with her four children for the first time in nine years. The woman said to be a grad­uate and speaks fluent English narrated her ordeal to the people in the area who gathered around to have a glim of her.

Sunday Sun was told by eye witnesses that the woman’s lover who hails from Ekiti State loved her so much and wanted to marry her but because her family was against the relationship, he decided to kidnap her for keeps, to keep her away from her parents. He later took her to a wooden house he built for her in Okerube area of Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos.

Neighbours said the woman claimed not to have known where she was kept because her lover would go to the market to get food for her and her children very early in the morn­ing and threatened that she would die if she stepped out of the house. When he leaves, he makes sure he locks the house so she had no way of coming out. Sunday Sun was told that it was in the wooden house that the woman gave birth to her four children while the hus­band acted as the midwife.

Three weeks ago, her lover fell ill and could not as usual go out to fetch food all through the period of his illness. Extreme­ly starved and weak, the woman forced him out on Friday, October 24, 2014 to get what they would eat and drink before they all die of hunger and thirst. Luckily for her and the children, the man forgot to lock the house.It was at this point that the woman decided to urinate and was shocked to see what had hap­pened around her.

When the people in the area discovered her, they came out in their numbers and started questioning her as they thought she was mad. She and her children were so much emaciated but from her responses and body language, they realized she and the children were okay and mentally sound. While in forced confinement, she had taught the children their lessons such that they spoke very well when with their mother in the crowd. She remembered her sister’s con­tact and one of the sympathizers quickly put a call through to her. In about 30 minutes, the sister arrived at the scene and took her and the children away.

Eyewitnesses reported that her husband had not returned from the market when she was taken away. They said she was so upset at the forceful rescue that she was scream­ing at the top of her voice: “My husband oh, my husband!” thereby getting her sister an­gry and shouting back at her; “which yeye husband you dey call?”

A lady who lived in the neighbourhood said the man built the wooden house near her house. Whenever people go near the place to see if anyone lives there, he would use a catapult and stone to hit them and chase them away. She said: “Anyone who tries to get close, this man will use catapult and stone to shoot them so people had to let him be thinking he was mentally unbal­anced. We didn’t even know he was living there with five people. When the man got back, he found the house empty. He be­gan to shout, ‘’I hate human beings, that is why I isolated myself and my family from them.’’Can you imagine”?

It is uncertain if the man is himself a grad­uate or if he is mentally stable but one thing is certain: He was not ready to set his “wife” free and was very upset when she left.

See How Task Force Raiding Computer Village, Seizes 30 Bikes

Officials of the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences have impounded 30 motorcycles in the Iju-Ishaga area of the state.

The task force also dislodged traders selling their wares at the Computer Village, Ikeja in a bid to stop street trading. It arrested four of the traders.

The task force officials had on Monday swooped on commercial motorcycle riders plying the Iju-Ishaga Road, which is said to be a restricted route.

The officials chased the okada riders and impounded their motorcycles.

It was learnt that the okada riders abandoned their bikes and took to their heels to avoid being arrested and prosecuted.

The task force Chairman, Bayo Sulaiman, said residents of the area had been complaining that okada riders were plying prohibited routes and obstructing traffic in the area.

He said, “The task force wanted people to know that it had not relented in its enforcement activities, as being speculated in some quarters. Any motorcyclist arrested, will be charged to court and their bikes forfeited to government.”

Sulaiman added that the task force visited Computer Village to dislodge traders peddling their wares on the streets and warned that the enforcement officials would continue to monitor activities in the area on a daily basis to ensure that traders were off the streets.

He said another raid on Monday evening revealed that many of the traders were back on the streets hawking their wares.

“The task force raided the village and arrested four traders while others fled,” he added.

According to Sulaiman, the task force will not relent in enforcing the ban on street trading. He said the four people arrested would be charged to court to serve as a deterrent to others.

He said, “We will ensure that the Computer Village is cleaned up and we don’t want trading on the streets at the village. We are warning them that if any of them comes to the road again to sell, we will seize their goods.

“A lot of people believe that we have relaxed in enforcement; but we have not. We will ensure that places like Oshodi and Obalende- that have been cleared of street trading and street urchins- are well policed so that the traders and area boys do not come back to turn these places to nuisance.”

A 32-year-old woman, Mrs Pauline Ukah, has sought the dissolution of her marriage of nine years to her husband, Charles Ukah, before the Customary Court, Alagbado, in Lagos State, over his alleged irresponsible attitude.

She also accused her husband of forcefully taking away their only son under the pretext of taking him to his hometown.

"Four days after our wedding, my husband started attacking me physically. For the next five years, I endured the pain, thinking he would begin to treat me as his true love. Even when my husband got a job, he still didn’t make any meaningful contribution to our upkeep.

"I had to obtain a loan to complete our house. I have been solely responsible for the upkeep of our children. Most of the time, I would go on commercial motorbike from Lagos Island where I work to Meiran. But rather than empathise with me, my husband would lock the door against me, thereby making me to enter the room through the window.

"Some time ago, when I was duped N5 million by some conmen, who wanted to help us obtain United States visa, my husband called me a prostitute. On that day, they asked us to put all our money and jewellery inside a box and we complied. But that was the last we heard of them," Pauline told then court

She said that her husband was fond of charms.

"Till date, I don’t know why he buried his singlet in the house. When my husband was under some spiritual attacks and all he could see were reptiles, I stood by him. I took him to a hospital and footed the medical bills."

In his response Charles, however, said: "Almost everything she said is true. She has been a caring wife and mother. But there is no cordial relationship with my in-laws. Since I lost my job, life has been tough.

"Contrary to her claim, I don’t beat her. We only have misunderstanding once in a while. Each time I intend to pick our children for holidays, her mother chases me with a cutlass.

"It is a taboo in my tribe for a woman who commits adultery to still sleep with her husband again. My wife once confessed to having slept with a man who wanted to help us obtain United States visa.

"It was at a family meeting that they ordered me to take our only son to our hometown for cleansing and I did. If only my wife can cleanse herself, she can have our son back," Charles told the court.

His wife, however, reacted, saying, "My husband was given four days to take our son for cleansing in his hometown. It is almost a month, but my husband has not brought him back. Now, I am agitated because the boy has always been in my custody. It’s been three years since we lived as a couple.

"I was told to cleanse myself if I was still interested in being his wife. Since my son has been cleansed, there shouldn’t be a problem. I have never fought him over any trivial issue. I always make my intentions known to him. God knows I am fed up; so, I want a divorce. He is free to see our three children whenever he wishes."

President of the court, Mr. Olubode Sekoni, adjourned the matter till November 3.

President of Zambia, Michaal Sata has died at the age of 77. He died yesterday October 28th at the King Edward VII hospital in the United Kingdom after suffering from an undisclosed ailment.

Born July 6 1937, Mr Sata was elected Zambia's President in September 2011. He is survived by wife Christine and 20+ children. May his soul rest in peace, Amen
